"I started learning piano at age 11 where I was lucky enough to receive a formal classical education, completing the grades and getting to learn the works of legendary composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. I also had a lot of informal training which was basically me playing music I wasn't supposed to because it wasn't part of the exam!
My curiosity (with the help of my dad) first led to me to look at pop music such as The Beatles, Elton John and Queen. I loved playing this music and one of the things I particularly liked was the element of blues in it. So naturally, I went deeper into the blues, which then put me on the path to jazz. I love to explore music, but I also find that the more you learn about different music, the more similarities there are.
Music is a blessing that has brought many highlights to my life and helped me through many difficult times. I hope I can help deliver the benefits of music to you too!"
